About Us

Who We Are

Founded in 2019, Ulu Companies is a group of Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) owned small businesses based in Honolulu, Hawai’i, with commercial and local, state, and federal clients spanning industries such as healthcare, public transportation, insurance, and more. We are majority owned by the non-profit Ke Kumu ‘Ulu, an NHO with a mission to provide educational, business, and community activities and programs to Native Hawaiian people in the State of Hawai’i. Each company in the Ulu Co. family works acts as a means to support the non-profit, helping to realize its vision of a healthy and prosperous lāhui (Hawaiian people/nation) that is firmly rooted in Native Hawaiian culture, values, and practices.
